He's joined a handful of blogging bishops that includes Boston's Cardinal Sean O'Malley.
Prendergast does not know of any other Canadian bishops who blog. "Am I part of a trend? Who knows," he said.
You can find the archbishop's blog at http://archbishop.blogspot.com where he has been posting detailed descriptions of his busy days, his travels, and reflections on everything from theology, to local and Church history to the weather in Ottawa.
Prendergast also includes background information on various saints' days, including interesting tidbits about their personal lives.
